But in all seriousness, these people do make games for a living, so you can hardly expect them to try NOT to make money, can you? Tenets is a good way for then to do that, at the cost of making this less of a Free to Play game and more of a Pay to Survive game.

Another Tenet thread merged again.

My personal take on Tenet? I don't mind it, however I do not play on the new server where rushing to max Tenets matters. Sure, cashers get Tenet work done faster, but it's not an impossible feature for non-cashers to work on, as quoted below by my colleague:

Once again I would like to throw out there that there are many many many non cashers on my server that have high level sage or higher tenets because of a few things 1. they do every daily event that gives wisdom. 2. The buy PoW and GPoW from shops. 3. There have been quite a few special events that have given PoW as rewards. and 4. The buy charm and turn it into crystal so they can buy them.

Honestly, it is not the most casher based system available. It has been pretty open from the start.

If all you're focused on at level 37 is how much a couple others can cash and max this and that, you're not going to enjoy the game. There are numerous other things you can work on rather than busying yourself with other players' progress. Refine your toon -- it may take much more time and effort, but if you're not willing to put out, you won't gain much else besides envy and frustration. Those with ambition and drive can and will make it, with or without cashing.
