The bound items exist to prevent such thing, and it's not gonna change.

It would be nice if the costumes are un-bound till someone puts in on like any other gear, to prevent being scammed.

Its better to un-bound it to prevent from being scammed.Also,I think its nice to un-bound it even if you equip your items,for example:
If you want to change your costume and want to sell your old costume to somebody,you cant sell your old costume because the old costume that you have was bound.
