Immortal Weapon bug

I do not see anyone reporting this but if you have Supreme Auguric X and it is Imbue and awakened, Then upgrade to the new Immortal Weapon. You will basically loose your weapon Imbue and awakening. I do not know if this is intended so everyone could honestly Imbue and awaken their weapon all over again. Anyone have any thoughts in this?
