Hi: I use a 2x exp @ 300 regular exp and only get 500 exp, and should be 600, same with 1.5, I get 400 and should be 450. Then when I clicked guild 2x exp, and clicked my 2x exp, I was getting 762 exp not 900. here was the best one. regular exp 537 X 2x exp = 1074 X 2x exp = 2148, and I was only getting 1253. pretty much lost one hour token of 2x exp @ that rate, actually only getting the exp of just ( JUST ) barely over 2x exp

Check your math also please.
Let x be the original amount of exp you get.
2x + 1.5x of exp tokens in game are not equal to 3.5x.
For example, let's say x is 500.
2(500) + 1.5(500) = 1250.
It's not 3.5(500) = 1750.
It's really a common mistake to assume multipliers are group together.
But it's not."This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions twists all our arms collectively, but if sweetness can win, and it can, then I'll still be here tomorrow to high-five you yesterday, my friend. Peace." - Royal Tart Toter

So you are saying that 2x exp @ 500exp isn't 1000?
No mater how you word it 2x something is 2x that something, 2 x 1 = 2, 2 x 2 =4, 2 x 500 = 1000
Please show me how you are getting 2x exp @ 500exp is not 1000exp.
Well then if 2x of 500 doesn't = 1000 , and 1.5x of 500 doesn't = 750 for a total of 1750. I sure am glad I did not go to your school lol. and they should rename them to partial 2x exp and partial 1.5x exp.
So it is like the old question, If I am 45 and she is 15, she is 1/3 my age, when I am 60 and she is 30 she is 1/2 my age how long b4 she catches my age.Last edited by Spec5; 07-29-2012, 08:12 PM.

1.5x500 = 750
2x500x1.5 = 1500
2+1.5x500 = 1750
see the diff? you do not add multipliers but instead you multiply the product from another multiplier...... its as simple as that
also she would never catch your age because you both grow old just saying...

I understand that you felt belittle with your thoughts and attempted to talk back. Regardless, it is also my fault for failing to communicate. I should have said it in a simpler explanation so that you can comprehend what I'm trying to say.
"2(500) + 1.5(500) = 1250." <- I failed to point out 1250 is the bonus exp you get from the 500 exp you gain in one monster.
What you want to happen is, let's say the original exp is 500, using 2x and 1.5x token, you should get 1000 + 750 exp, so you claimed.
But the calculation in game is different. You apply the formula: 2x + 1.5x = exp gained. Where the value of X is the original amount exp gained.
And it is most likely, that your character is in VIP. Hence, the default exp multiplier of 1.5. So, the monster is only at 200 exp. It only comes to 300 because of the default 1.5x multipler. By activating your x2 multiplier, it becomes 500.
200(1.5) + 200(2) = 500.
**It is possible that the original exp you get is not 300. It is 200. Assuming that, you are in vip state.
If you are not in vip state, then I guess it is somehow bugged or glitched.

Let's make it simple..
The experience multipliers only multiples the base experience. It don't work as ((base exp x1.5 vip)x2 Guild) x 2 Seignor) x 2 Token)

Okay. Let's say you're VIP - so that's 1.5x EXP.
Now let's say you use a 2x EXP also.
Normally, you would gain 500 EXP from a mob without VIP / 2x
500*1.5x(VIP) would = 750
Now add that with the 500(2x) which would = 1,000
So 1000 +750 - 1750 per mob.
Edit: NOW let's say you have the Guild Skill Enhancement that gives you extra EXP boosts.
So the Enhancement Skill gives 3% and increased each 3% / Level.
Level 1 = 3% so it would be 15 + 1750 = 1765 EXP / Mob
Level 2 = 6% so it would be 30 + 1750 = 1780 EXP / Mob
Level 3 = 9% so it would be 45 + 1750 = 1795 EXP / Mob
And you can do the math from there.Last edited by BrotherVT; 07-30-2012, 02:48 AM.The King doesn't fall so easily boys
