  • weird bug after closing shop

I noticed this bug just today and at first on my home pc. i thought it just weird and my issue.
but now it happens on my work pc. So i open a shop with my tiger on and then let it sit for a few minutes and then close the shop.
i can now no longer click on any people and when i click npc's it populates their name in the chat window, like i had ctrl clicked.
if i press ctrl click on the npc it then lets me click on things normally.
I tested this with no mount and every thing works fine.
but as soon as i open shop on my tiger(1day) then it happens.

I will conduct further experiments and update this post.

    thanks

ok, so i figured it out, the above post is misleading now, lol.

The issue is when you lock your computer using ctrl-alt-del then the bug happens.
doesnt matter if you are in shop or not. If you lock your computer then come back
you then cant click on anything until you press the ctrl button once then everything works fine.

ok, no issues on ie, so its just google chrome, so it might not be a CS bug it might be a Chrome bug.
At this point there is a lot more to test.

Is your ctrl button sticking? Mine sticks quite often and the scenario you described happens to me, which is why I ask.

i would think that but it happens on two different keyboards, plus it only happens when i do ctrl-alt-del and not any other time. Thanks for the thought though.

i tried ctrl-alt and ctrl-del but no bug occurs on that, only when i press all three buttons as if to lock the pc.
If i press crtl-alt-del and then esc instead of enter the bug occurs too

i went to this keyboard test site
              http://gate2home.com/English-Keyboard
and it tested fine in chrome.
So i'm guessing the issue is back to CS?
Should i place a support ticket or will this thread do?

I tried it out and had no problems at all. If you haven't tried it already, try updating everything(Flash player, browser, OS, etc.) and clear your cache, delete your cookies, and so on. Haven't heard of this problem before so I'm guessing that the issue is on your end. Maybe it's a program that is interfering?
Anyway, not really a problem since you have your "Ctrl" fix, but feel free to file a ticket if you want to.
