If I play completely free (MAYBE V.I.P. SUPER maybe) and all I do is grind/quest and do dailies. RARELY do dungeons (Because it takes forever to get a group)

And the only means I have of getting gear is

1.) Finding it on monsters

2.) Buying it from players

So, do players sell enough cash shop stuff to be able to be fine and get the gold in game to buy everything?


This question is really the deciding factor for me. I don't see myself spending 1000$ to get powerful but at the same time, if I cant eventually get that powerful free with work, I also don't wanna play. So is it possible in a realistic amount of time? Let's say 3-4 months playing a few hours per day?

Doing dungeons is important at one point especially when trying to get Heroic wings. Otherwise you won't be able to get enough gold to buy stuff til ur lvl50s or 60s. Dungeons pretty much fund you more then mob drops in the higher levels.

You might be looking at a little longer than 3-4 months, but it is entirely possible to play completely for free and be as strong as a lot of other players (obviously, there will be people who have more time and/or spend cash who will be a bit stronger, but over time that evens out). I played for free (with VIP) for a long time and was able to upgrade my pet to Demon King using just ingame gold around the time I hit level 60.

The trick is to decide what you want now and what can wait for later- such as upgrading wings, mount, soul, pet, etc. Pick one, and sell everything else to get the gold to fund what you want to go for first. I chose to go for wings and collected morph crystals and eggs to get my pet as I could afford it. Some people wait on getting a pet until they have a decent mount and/or soul. Just depends on how you want to play.

A lot of people do dungeon runs on normal mode for purified crystals, which sell well. Those are the biggest money makers in the early stages of the game. You can buy epic shards from players with the money you get from the purified crystals to get you through until you have enough honor and medals to get the Savage set.
