Posting some pics of the new pets and what skills they have.

It's practically a pet only for show. Has Lv2 starting skills but it's a magic and physical mix.

I don't get why the Reaper is a magic pet but it gets a physical attack as its default.

Well it attacks with a Scythe... A scythe is basically hard and it can physically wound you so... *SHOT*
Maybe that's the reason? Ahahaha... Okay put down your pitchforks. o_o;

If you look closely it is 'Offensive (Magical)', the skills require intellect and the Aptitudes are designed to be Agility/Intellect, close hybrid. Strength is the lowest aptitude available. Giving it a default phys atk is just, well, screwing over your pet designs >.< It's like Nature Ranger using the default attack instead of Magic Arrow: utterly useless.

I do like the Crimsom Werewolf tho, nice touch with the hp regain skill, makes me think of it feeding off on his victims.

wow o_O I've seen just 2 Werewolf Overlord, yet both of them have learned Charm..
