Alt abusing

So this has been bugging me alot lately. Its rampart in our server the (s90) group and i want to know what stance R2 takes against it.

What im talking about here is ALT ABUSING. Using alts to gain advantages in events such as IOB and the new event Specially is where ive noticed it ( Rotten Abyss) where there are 2 teams and a person can use 2 chars to make his side "win" and face the boss.
This is utterly infuriating and annoying to play against and i want to know what R2s policy is on this ? because the TOS doesent mention alot about people playing multiple accounts. I cant for the life of me believe that this would be allowed?

It's as UltimatePain said, 5+ accounts are considered as alt abuse.
And if you manage to find proof that someone is using alts to boost his main character then report this to R2 by using the support page (Ticket) with the proof attached and the description. R2 staff will make their decision.
And if they are just under 5 total accounts and not intentionally farming for main character, this is considered safe.

The surest way to prove mass alt abuse would be via admission from the player(s) involved. Otherwise, it would be far too tedious for the team to single-handedly investigate every alt accusation.

We need more than finger-pointing. "These toons are so-and-so's alts," is not enough to go on. We need to know why you believe said toons are alts and what leads you to believe they're being used in a manner which conflicts with our ToS. The more detailed the report is, the easier it is for the team to proceed with the case.

Look dude ,if you had to deal with a serious company, you could complile a list of characters names, main-alts, point out what event they abuse and sent em via ticket!
That company the next day would replied you with their verdict! Now here it's a different case even if you do what the forum mod suggested it's just for show! You gonna do
all that work, which it's not yours to do in 1st place but let's say for the love of the game, then you gonna send em via ticket and just wait endlessly for nothing to be done!
End of story in this case for example on abysm, pvp area, all you can do is kill all the alts not let em finish quests to get points and your side gets the boss! Sorry if i burst your
bubble but that's how thinks work around here.... Have fun!

That is the straight answer he needs to hear. Who in the world would know the amount of characters you have besides yourself? unless you start bragging about it and telling people.

I know in S94 some people use 8-9 alts to farm quiz and give all MC to their mains.

To be honest I don't understand how IOB can help a main much since the majority of stuff is bound. Same goes for most of the other events. Rotten Abyss is PvP though so you can just kill the alts, unless you're on the same side...then I assume you wouldn't mind the alt abuse as you'd be benefiting from it too

Looks like the thread starter is just kind of jealousy casher.
Its fair how people wants their char getting strong.
Spend money with crystal
Spend time and energy with alt abusing
Or even people wants to spend money, time, and energy with all of that things, it doesnt matter.
