I'm just an old player of this game, i played since 2012, and then i stopped like in 2017. I kinda miss this game now, so i tried to play this game again. And, i realized that this game is kinda empty, there's so few players in the game. Am i just playing this in the wrong time? or this game is really dead? (because back then there were so many players and they were so noisy in the world chat and now, its very quiet).

It depends on time, server etc. I've seen where players be requesting merge because their server is dead. Some servers are dead, some are decently active. Even in my server group, we're quiet most of the day altho we have a decent player base.
