i have a few hundred soul shards saved up and im wondering if theres a best time to use them.like a certain lvl or right before reborn ect.
lets say a person would get 10000pdef at lvl 80 then using soul that gives +2% pdef would make it 10200 right?
but if i used the soul before and got the +2% and lets say i get 100pdef per lvl would it still be 100flat or 100+2%=102 per lvl?

% defense affects stats from your base stats. it's basically what you get off stat points but there is slightly more to it...if that was the case hellwings wouldn't be so powerful making a 3k difference in stats usually (as 3k defense off stat points is impossible without soul on endurance). i think equipment stats also play a role somehow, but not entirely when it comes to the % increases. it is confirmed that base stats play a role in how the increases work though.
