Im currently playing on Twilight Caverns, with servers 7 and 4 and most of the time I go into GR its to help my guildies who are being repeatedly attacked by much higher levels.
I know this is a constant thing on these forums, usually posted by a low lvl players who can never get to finish GR cos of bored high lvls killing them for no apparent reason. I am a lvl 97 rogue with 12k patk unbuffed so can hold my own against all but a few of the major players, so fighting, killing and dying in there is not why i'm posting this.
But what we all see if that GR is generally cleared out because players do not want high repairs, or time wasted trying pointlessly to complete GR. Before the replys start saying to take ur gears off yadadada it is a fundamental flaw in the GR event which means GR is often a non event for over 90% of the server - being killed multiple times by the same ppl is not fun, nor is it great fun for others who spend an hour patrolling their guildies whilst they complete GR - and the game is meant to be fun.
Now i do not want GR to be non pvp, that would be pointless - but I would love to see aggressors in GR risk something more then GR res which all high lvls have plenty of. If you want to collect your res by attacking others fine, no problems - but a system similar to the pk ranking crossed with the escort event would certainly make it more entertaining, and risky for those bullies who spend the full hour killing players who cannot defend themselves just because they're bored or are general muppets. So a couple of suggestions:
* "PK" style ranking for killing in GR - higher the lvl gap higher the ranking. Once a certain rank has been achieved "pk'ers" stand the chance of losing items from their invent. If a lvl scale was used pk'ers who attacked their own lvl would not attain a pk rank. I do not wish to see this rank carried to the outside world, and should be reset every GR.
* Defenders - Using a justice/escort mode these players actively hunt for "PK'ers" and defend others from attack - honor can be rewarded based on lvl difference for every justice kill.
* Temporary Immunity to Attack - players killed by a PK'er have a short time frame to collect without risk of being attacked (except for those in justice mode) - this would give players who just want to collect a chance to finish.
I hope if this type of system was introduced the GR event would turn from a simple click and collect to a potential new pvp event, that gives everyone a chance to do GR how they wish.
