I recently found out that different classes's frag weapon of the same level gives different % chance of artic blast, out of curiosity i did some testing. It seems that artic blast triggers % chance is independent of attack speed/casting speed. It seems as long as you are in battle there is a chance of triggering. I need further data to confirm this, but i would like others to give their opinion on this. Thanks

Rouge frag weapon being the only one that is different, aside i would still like to understand the mechanics of it, is the % calculated everytime you are attacking like on hit or everytime a person is in battle. For example, if a person's attack speed/cast speed is 100%, and another is 150% does that mean the system will check if artic blast activates 1.5 times more for the 150% character

Well I dont know how it works, but I do know that my husband triggers the skill constantly! And I really mean that. He is a knight and it will trigger and then within another couple seconds of it ending it triggers again. Mine triggers a lot but about half as much as his. I would also like to know what the % is based off of. If it is based off of attack then it makes sense why he triggers more often than I do because he is a knight with a lot higher attack than me.Server: (S39) Erie Marsh

It is based off exactly as it is stated: "#% chance of triggering Arctic Blast when attacking".
Meaning in short: every attack/hit you do has that chance. Aoe's that deal hits (not aoe's like curses that do DoT) have that chance too. If a knight uses some Aoe-skill in between a ton of mobs it's likely it will tick off. If a priest uses a curse on the same group it won't tick.
As earlier posts asked: yes, having higher attack speed increases the amount of attacks, increasing the frequency of Arctic blast ticking off.Crystal Saga:

The only class with a different percentage for triggering Arctic Blast would be rogues, but as they hit fast I guess there is a reason for this. I'm a priest with 8% trigger chance atm and mine triggers almost non-stop when I'm using bloodbeam, but when I use light it triggers less but still does pretty often. So it's just based on your attack speedIf I post something really weird that makes no sense whatsoever it means I'm not mentally there at the time I post it (probably sleep deprived)

All other classes have 10% because their default atk is just a single-hit.Crystal Saga:
