Drop tokens decrease DC drop rate ?

So.. i have been doing psychodelica alot lately.
sometimes without and sometimes with drop token on.

for some reason im starting to think that when u use a drop token less DC's (Dragon Crystals) drop.
usually when in do my runs (im vip so 8 runs) without drop token i get 5-6 of them.
and when i use a drop token it seems to only drop 1-3.

well it might just be hell of a coincidence but i was wondering if other people have been experiencing this aswell.

When a x2 droptoken-event came out, some people did some test and concluded that the drop-token does not increase the frequency of any item dropping at all. I can't find the thread back but he tested with over 200 items looted without token or something and 200 with token. Can't remember the exact test.
The conclusion was however both ended up being the same.

well, when i use drop token in dungeons i do really notice it drops more wings/muts especially when ur higher level.
also when ur like about to switch over to another dungeons it really helps with drop rate for PC's say ur lvl 65 u should do KD for PC's, but while ur 65 SR still drops PC's aswell just not as much > a drop token really helps at that point.

And if what you are saying is correct why are the drop tokens still in game ? and further more why is it getting sold in Ladder ?

Something being in-game does not necessarily mean that it is working properly. Vansheer quake from SR is an example of an item that has been there for ages but does not function at all. Who knows, 2x drop token might be one of such items too. It is just hard to test this because even if you do or don't get more loots using 2x token, it can just be your luck. I personally never use those tokens though

Well thats what im trying to say, that it maybe isnt working properly.
and if its ingame it always has a chance of not working, these are bugs. but it should mean that it should work, am i right ?

i have used drop tokens a few times while afking but i didnt received more loot
so in my oppinion there has to be an bug

I think most of the time they have no purpose. I stopped using them as they did not really increase my drops. But sometimes you see a drop increase in dungeons and I only use them because I dont feel like throwing them away on the off chance that I might get an extra drop somewhere.

But I do not see that they work 99% of the time. They are supposed to make mobs drop more loot, not a mob that would normally drop nothing. Like if you get a mob and it would normally drop 2 items then there is a better chance that it will drop more than 2 items. Whatever... I think they have like a .0005% chance of working. LoL

Whenever I use them, my loot actually seems to decrease.

Admittedly, I didn't use them in dungeons. I heard they can help there for wings.

As long as the boss' name is yellow / white / green, you will have a chance of looting PCs. Even if you are lets say lvl 65 meant to do KD, but you will still get PCs in SR.

But personally, I never use those tokens, I see no difference
