I got a baby demon egg and hatched it and nothing happened, after I got a baby angel egg and it didn't work, I don't know if it's a bug or is it just me?

thats normal..... The eggs only give you a CHANCE to hatch a baby demon/angel/teeka/or fire lord, not a guarantee
