How often does new servers get released?

Basically the title says it all

Recently im getting interested to play CS again.
I used to play it over a year ago and recently, it caught my interests again.
However, I want to start all fresh on a brand new server, but I was wondering how often r2 releases them.

I havent seen any news updates yet of a possible release,
so i was wondering if CS players know how frequent servers get released. ( a month, 2 months etc)
Not that I ask for an exact date, time zone or other jimjams,
but the frequency .

they release them when they like it and then merge them when they see a lot of people has spent balens so they can spend more trying to be number one.

I guess i just stay at the newest server that was released... idk how long ago xD;;

and with balens, you probly mean crystal :P
