no mounts do not add to your move speed... put it this way you walk at a certain speed.... being lighter/heavier affects this.... and changes your potential move speed...

now go onto say a horse it jogs at 3kmph could be faster or slower depending on the "stats" of the person riding it as compared to another person riding it

so a mount with 400 move speed(carpet) being rode by a lvl 1 noob would be a total of 400 move speed.... or by me and have 711 move speed ^_^

all it does is take away walking move speed(80 i believe) and add mount move speed into the equation while keeping all other factors(skills, soul, equips, etc)

Those pictures are horrible to view... so i fixed it for you.








Using the forums "insert picture" and selecting "from computer" or "from URL" but leaving the "retrieve remote file" with a tick in it... is really bad.
You want to use the "From URL" but have that tick box UNTICKED, because this forum just murders pictures, it adds like some massive white background to them for no reason.
Your best option is to use a 3rd party site like photobucket or something like that for best quality, and to make your point valid.

BTW that 2nd screenshot, we can't see you mounted or show that you are actually using the mount for the movement speed to be correctly discussed without floating doubt that the screenshot is actually valid.

when you are not on a mount you have 150 movement speed plus the movement speed from armor,soul, etc.

when you get a mount you only have the mount speed plus the movement speed from armor,soul etc.

the 150 movement speed is subtracted from it...


150 movement speed = movement speed you start with when you begin the game

because just like people mounts have a base speed they walk or run at.... so is not like you would be combining your speed with the mount.... you are just adding your movement speed boosts to your mount lol
