Party Animal +2% EXP broken?

Today I killed a bear and received 202 exp and as you noticed I got a bonus amount. But you see 2% of 200 is 4 so shouldn't I earn 204 EXP not 202? or my eyesight is messed up and it says +2% EXP please explain .

Are you a VIP? If you are then there is nothing wrong with the title. It is because VIP have 200% exp from all kills, so adding 2% on top of that only gives you a total of 202% exp. So if the bear gives you 100 base exp, then VIP+title = 202% exp means you get 202 exp, which is correct for your case

Ok the thing is my base EXP is 200 and 2% of that is 4 so 200+4=204???

When I said "base exp", I meant it is not counting any exp bonus, even VIP's bonus. So if you are gaining 200 exp with VIP, then the base exp is only 100 and not 200

Alll exp bonuses are additive, not multiplicative, so its 100% (base exp) + 100% (vip bonus) + 2% (title) = 202% total.

You can see this more clearly if you add a 2x exp token to the midst, 2x token means +100% exp more, so it will be 302% in the end (not 404%)

Ok to start of with you confused the hell out of me. I am not a VIP and I am just saying that 2% of 200 is 4 so I should earn 204 EXP not 202 (my base EXP after killing bear is 200EXP without any boost of some sort).

Oh, sorry, I thought you have VIP. If that's the case, do you have any other exp bonus on at that moment? Guild 2x, seignior, 2x token, getting older buff from event? If you are sure that there is no exp boost on you then try to create a thread in the Bug report section, or ask a moderator to move this thread there.
