Priest or knight

i am always playing knight for almost 6 characters in different worlds.
But doing vault solo is not as easy as it is said in forums.

So i was wondering if anyone can suggest Priest or Knight for my next character xD

i want to solo vault (hard) easier and which trains easier (as in level up) easier.

i had a hard time training my knight when i reaches Lvl 40 is hard to train and @ level 43 full armor in green savage in vault (hard) i used up 10 hp orbs for 8 rounds super costly...

well im a priest (im a slow progress player)
when i reach lvl 80 (mortal) i can solo;
vault (NM)
blood Clsm (Hard)
SRelic (NM)
Ladder (lvl 16 golem stun every 2 sec)<< not recommended solo
Training grounds (complete wave) my pet got + 2 lvl (lvl57-59) every attempt(use 2 exp token pet) .etc.. etc..

The above priest has really bad stats, for a lvl 80, u can prolly have much better def and stats if u spend a little time on it. Im a lvl 75 priest (mortal) and i can solo all that he said, + nightmare KD and enough in phyco to get phantom shards. (althought i got some help getting through the full hard run to get into nightmare) knights can do nothing like this solo unless they are willing to cash a ton to get really good wings and pets.

hmmm... depen on ur effort. both can become good.
im a knight, i can solo anything on NM. not even using pot/orb. but i spend a lot of time. so pick one do u like most..

Well, given equal effort put in both toons, a priest can solo any dungeon without orb at an earlier stage on knight, just because priest can self-heal. However once the knight can solo the dungeon without orb, he tends to do it 2x faster than priest.

I'm a lvl 80 priest mortal and I can solo Vault NM, BC Hard, SR NM, KH Hard (probably NM too, just too lazy to try), and Psycho Hard, and Training all the way.

I also have a lvl 40 priest that can solo Vault Hard and was able to solo Vault NM at lvl 35. I just gave her a bit of ice soul, the best non-savage gear she could get, at least 2 normal gems on each equip, and then enchanted to +3. She has a vulture with Heal and Totem, but it didn't learn it until after I got her to 40. Back when she was lvl 35, her vulture only had the default attack.

Knights are great for Indigo because they can do all 5 runs in 20 minutes if geared properly for defense, with full str for speed. But beyond that, I'd rather stick to a class that can self-heal on top of potions if you're going to be soloing at low levels.

Try priest. With good gear (NOT savage) and the right (hybrid) build, they can do a lot even if it might take a little longer.

OOOH seems like priest is a good job is a healing pet or offensive pet better?

I still wish I was a knight though ;_; my knight alt is doing everything better than my priest now, and his soul is 300 behind the priest's, with only +11 gears compared to priest's +13

For priest's pet, I still prefer a defensive pet like teeka, BA or even just morphed bear. They can help you to solo at an even earlier stage of the game. Offensive pets will be good later on when you can already solo well without the pet's support skills.
