A New Server

To start off I really like cs and I like how it gets updated and continues to develope, but due to the time I started to play, i chose a newer server and didnt get to start right off soon as it opened, and with the recent server merges, I was wondering if there will be a new pve east server released sometime soon, or due to all the merges will you be holding off on any new servers for the moment? I ask this question due to the fact that even the ppl who started in my server the day it opened are 6+ months behind to the other servers, now in this games, that is an impossible gap to make up, unless all the others stop playing for months at a time, obviously if they have been enjoying the game an playing this long to have such a huge gap, I don't see that happening. It is just too much to catch up to these players. Also I understand that even new servers will have to merge eventually but starting on a old server with the way prices are, really sets a newer player at a disadvantage, not to mention that it is pointless to even try an enjoy any of the pvp events, getting 1 shot from ppl you hardly get to see, just is no fun, so back to the orignal question, Will there be a new pve east server created soon, or is there any general idea of about how long it will be before such a server is avaible?

The prices on an older server is actually much better than new server in my opinion. Everything tends to be cheaper as more people are capable of farming stuffs.

But I agree with you on the point that it's hard to enjoy any pvp event on an old server though.

To answer your question, I know that a new server is opened every 2 weeks or so. But I have no idea on the type of the server (pvp or pve, est or pst)

I also noticed that some prices did become cheaper but now i see outragous prices on items that should be 1/2 the price or less you know, i saw ppl all day long tryin to sell things double or triple the price they used to be but all the items that i had, dropped in value by ten fold, it is an impossible situation in which seems hopeless to even enjoy the game as it stands, 9-13-2012 so basically 8 days ago a new pvp server was open, so i would think that the next new server should be a pve an an east coast 1 at that. I just wish i had an decent idea to when, because the way things are now, it really is no fun to play....

Also i have noticed that you guys do give a notice of some sort right before a server is revealed, so i will check that, but i would also like to know if the merges will slow down any releases or if there is at least a date in which a new server will be released? Thank you for your time.

Well price tends to fluctuate a lot for a short time after a merge as the different demand/supply of different markets try to readjust into 1 large market. If you give it some times, I believe that price will be stablized at a lower point than a new server's market alone =O
