For dungeons?

As the title says, I am currently torn between Nature Ranger and a Mage. Which of them is more preferable in dungeon running?

Nature Ranger can solo stuffs earlier, Mage kills faster.

Hmmh tough one, if both have seiryu or higher beast soul, I would say Mage has higher survivability as a Scion (due to higher damage which leads to higher life steal, and possible Ice Crystal as well). Eidolon would be harder to say, but I guess Ranger with a Daimon Shield would take that.
