[GUIDE] Ice Mage

I was looking around on the forums for an ice mage guide because I progressed through my mage like this: pure fire -- hybrid -- (almost) pure ice. I didn't find anything particularly useful because I am Level 65, so I decided to share my opinions on the ice mage build.

Stats: Usually mages go all Int, and I don't disagree, but a little bit of End doesn't hurt.
Equips: I currently possess the entire Epic Phantom's Nightshade set all OS +5, but I'm using Epic Bloodforge for now because the set effect is better.

What you've all been waiting for! The skills.

At level 65 I have 32 skillpoints to distribute as I choose, and I have done as follows:
FIRE:

Right tree
- Flame Shield - 1/5
- Blink - 1/5 (I love blink. PvP must right there. If you're not into PvP, you can choose to disregard this)


ICE:

Left tree
- Blizzard - 1/5
- Halo of Ice - 1/5
- Improved Blizzard - 1/5
- Empyrean Winds - 1/5

Middle tree
- Ice Cone - 1/5
- Wind Strike - 1/5
- Improved Ice Cone - 5/5 (the 70% slow is a monster + side. The damage you lack from choosing it over Imp. Fireball is made up for by the faster speed)
- Frost - 1/5
- Improved Wind Strike 1/5

Right tree
- Frost Shield - 5/5 (the defense is great and the mana regen is INSANE)
- Alacrity - 5/5
- Magic Penetration - 1/5
- Deep Freeze - 5/5
- Mana Breeze 1/5


And there it is. My build. It is difficult to make a build that is suitable for specific playing styles, and impossible to make a build that fits all level >.> So here is my best attempt at a (mostly) ice build. I hope you try it out and keep your mind open. (That's for all you fire addicts)

Epic Phantom Bloodforge
Mystical Soul Diamond Epic Is +8
Battle Bear Level 3
Ultimate Demigod Wings VIII
No buffs
Only 23 Soul xD

I can muster up a 4.5k MATK
And kill a lot of rogues, knights, and fire mages in Seng X)

How bout using Right Tree of Ice Tree and Middle, Left Tree of Fire tree?

gue, for a hybrid spec, (right tree of ice, left and middle fire) look at my guide later today, im going to update it and im a hybrid mage lvl 69 scion 6337 matk, 1551 pdef 2229mdef, 29% pdmg reduc, 8% mdmg reduc (thats all unbuffed and wearing epic nightshade +5 with no gems at all)

i think the flame shield is a waste of a skill point because you can only use one shield at a time
