Frag staff gem remove

So... I took gems out of my staff so I could upgrade them. It put the gems in my bag, but it didn't take them out of the weapon. It took the stats off the weapon, but it won't let me put in or take out gems now. What should I do?

When issues like this occurs, it's usually a minor display error. For future reference, a quick refresh will resolve this.
