my pet don't get exp....... help!!!

I have a bear and a archer, my archer always get xp but my bear is stuck on lvl 47 and I can't get it to get xp even if it kill on its own. Is it a bug or what can I do????

your pet can be only 5lvls above your char's level so if you are lvl42 then max pet lvl you can own is 47 and will stop gaining exp.
