Autoattacks

There is a difference between placing having and not having the basic attack placed in the AFK module. I am a ranger, and I find the attack speed is slightly faster if I only have my magic arrow in my AFK, and it sounds different too. If I'm not on AFK and manually spam the autoattack, there is no special sound created by the AFK attacks. Is it me or am I right?
