but this is most likely a ddos which not a hack, a ddos can bring any server down for as long as the attacker wants if he has enough resources

Alls i can see is the communication between the acct loggin and server stop at the charector screen, its like the data communication stops there.

you'd mean a real server.. windows servers subject to attack, whereas linux servers rarely, if ever get attacked
