Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about trades that were handled poorly in-game. It is up to the players to know and trust the traders they are conducting business with. All we can advise is that you proceed with caution in the future. Ask around before agreeing to trade, World Chat is a good tool to flag down players who can vouch for or against traders, and if you are trading for Fate Shop items, check their toon to see if they themselves have anything that was cashed.
