    this gyes on my server s138 ranjith wake up this morning whit his account completly mute and he dont understand why ,i was thinking only moderator have the power to mute and he said he havent encounter one so im wondering what is the issu there why he got mute how long will he be mute is that a moderator action or a bug

    Moderators do not have ingame permissions, so do not have the ability to mute people. R2 staff has the ability to mute people. Ranjith would need to send in a ticket to discuss his mute with R2.

      moderator cant mute anymoire i remenber went they were in game long ago (i play for 9 year so year 1-2) there were able too

        Crystal Saga has never had ingame moderators. Please do not confuse Moderator for GM, and in the case of Crystal Saga, the only GMs are R2 staff. Mutes are only issued as a result of sufficient evidence being sent in a ticket, and mutes are issued by R2 directly and at R2's discretion. Questions about a mute can be sent via ticket by the muted player.

          but they have the mod in red in front of there name not gm,but ok if you said so (noted went i was gm of the french server or ragnarok online they use the term moderateur not gm (grand maitre)

          but i know there was poeple in game the 2 first year i start to play (so 2011-2012) they were policing the game and mute a lot of poeple from 2h-to 48h for saying bad thing in chat or not respecthing english on general chat and then in 2013 they literally vanish and all the nasty stuff said in chat become daily routine

          anyway it dont matter to me that he got mute the only reason i ask was because for some weird reason poeple alway come to see me to solve there probleme like i am gm or something instead of going to the suport(i dont want to be gm anymore its a really stressful job)

            Yes, in the early days when there was more staff than there was servers, the GMs, who were R2 support staff, would be online to keep an eye on the game while on duty answering tickets. Now, however, there are far more servers and far more games, so they cannot watch chat and they rely on reports of rule breaking offenses sent via ticket.

              i send a lot of breaking rule offense to the suport over the years but almost all of them got ignored(actually that was alway there reply just ignor them they will go away ) and in other hand i made tonne of bug report too (that why poeple think at default that i am a gm ...they alway go the suport ignore my ticket please solve my probleme and the only think i can do its send a ticket for them (because for some reason the suport alway reply to me in less than 3h so i dont understand why the other player complain the suport dont reply to them

                Yes, the first action they expect from you is to block people you find offensive. Not all reports of people being offensive in chat are of people breaking rules.

                On the topic of people thinking you are a GM, let me post the obligatory disclaimer - R2 staff does not play Crystal Saga, anyone claiming to be staff or a GM in the game is impersonating staff and should be reported. Forum Moderators who hop into the game on occasion to find out more information about a report posted to the forum do so on characters they create themselves and have no GM abilities in the game. At no time will anyone official ever ask for a password - R2 does not need the password to access an account, though at times may need to reset the password, and access to an account will only be initiated following a support ticket.

                As always, if assistance with a ticket is needed, please reach out to a forum moderator on the forum or post in our new Discord server with the character name, server, and brief description of what the ticket is about, and we can forward that.

                  im not a gm i dont want to be one but i do try to help poeple of my server if i can ,that why poeple come to me went the suport ignor them if i can help i will but sometime im in front of a situation were i cant do anything and told them to go to the suport and or they dont do it or they do it wrong and i need to make the ticket for them

                    You should not be filing the ticket for other players. If a player needs assistance regarding an issue they need to submit the ticket themselves and if they're not receiving a response to the ticket the next step would be reaching to myself or Hachiro. We are responsible for Crystal Saga's issues. Thank you.
