Quest "To Have Lost and Found Again" won't complete

I killed the goblin pest and retrieved the introduction letter. I went back to Orison but He keeps says "How in the world are we supposed to get out of here". Only option is to leave. Therefore the quest will never complete, please investigate and fix.
