Accidental Firelord misclick deletion and no compensation from r2.

Actually i have been doing that while trying to retrieve my lost firelord...but seeing as r2 want to be treating people this way they can go to... They have my money and they did not have time to even reply to me properly.. same **** day in day out for 3-4 days straight same comments same bullcrap nothing new to reply to me with

Why does R2 need to reply to your inquiry any differently than they had been? Their stance on this topic has been quite clear.

But they need to think about having newer better security measures instead of thinking about the money in their pockets.

What does security measure have to do with this topic? Also, how do you think they will pay for any possible security upgrades that you believe they need? I assume it's from revenue gained from selling virtual items in their cash shops.

Shouldn't you have gone that rout to begin with rather than whine for days on the forum about a mistake you made? Isn't that what friends & guild mates are for anyways?

And my response was to the question of why the community might have a fit about deleted items being returned to people.

R2 is a business. They have your money already & they still have your time.

Here are a few reasons why the community might be upset if every time someone intentionally or unintentionally deleted an item, they were able to retrieve the deleted item:

-Consequences: Every action should have consequences. Far too many people go through games or life believing that there is a "reset" button. You chose to click the pop-up button without taking your time to read what clicking the pop-up button would do. In your own haste, you deleted an item. This is no ones fault but your own. Many people believe there are consequences for any action.

-Abuse: Allowing people who delete items to recover those items would open the door for abuse. How does R2 make the distinction between who should & who shouldn't get their items back? Your case may 100% legit, but who is to say the next 10 people who request deleted items be returned are just not abusing the system. R2 has made a stance, manually deleting an item after you get the warning pop-up & then clicking the button to proceed will result in you permanently losing the item. R2 doesn't want to set a precedent of returning these type of item deletions. Players will use any precedent of returned items to justify that their item should be returned as well, some of the previous replies in this thread already have done this.

While it sucks that you lost an item that you paid money for, R2 is a business & has to look at the bigger picture.

Thank you to my wonderful friends for helping me to get another firelord, R2 you can go shove ur customer services where the sun does not shine..you are useless, i know where to go when i need help because my friends will always be there for me and you will not.

I do not want them to make the deletion pop up & click button any bigger than what itis already because it can still be misclicked, i would like them to put where a player could delete by password of own choice...

It's doubtful they will add a password to the delete option, but you can suggest it in its own thread in the proper section if you'd like to see how the community feels about it.

But i am very dissapointed with r2, i never usually ask for anything but i asked for a small favour and so upset that they cannot help me after i spent alot of money on here. Im not a bad person im not a dishonest person i have helped so many people get their firelord and or buy them costumes out of the goodness of my heart. and now i will not do it and or spend anything else on cs.

I understand you are disappointed, but they are standing by their rule of not returning items lost due to player mistakes (selling to an npc, destroying, etc).

The last time they made an exception and returned something to a player, the community had a fit about it and was very vocal on the forum and in tickets about how the player shouldn't have gotten it back. Since then, they have made no exceptions. I feel for you, and if there was anything that could be done, I'd find someone to do it for you, but there just isn't.
