Ping Problem

Why do i get like 500~1500ms?
but when i play other games i get around 62ms only.
GM or someone please tell me if you can help me with this or not. Thanks

*i have tried all the basic stuffs i can do in my laptop.
*i also tried using different network but its the same.

Either you don't have a very fast/steady connection, or you're located far away, globally, from R2's servers/database, whatever it has to go through. For example:
My ping never reaches below 110 ms on CS;
On the original chinese version it never goes below 800ms;
On the european version, and I live in Europe, has at minimum 8-10ms which is fast as possible really.

thanks for the response! i tried kitwritten's advice and got 274 ~ 800 ping now.
i think my location is the problem thats why me and my friends get high ping. (we're in kuwait btw)
