  • What's the currency in this game?

I've been wondering what money you earn in this game and the only one I see that you earn is copper, but what are the other forms of money that you get on here?

I figured that Crystal is something that you have to pay for, but what's the use for crystals, coupons and the bottom 4 icons and how do you earn them?

The 4 bottom icons read like this: Coin: 0 Platinum, 0 Gold, 72 Silver, 12 Copper
    100 copper = 1 silver
    100 silver= 1 gold
100 gold = 1 platinum (some people call it diamonds, but it's really platinum)

Coupons are earned in game, by doing Day in Vidalia, being online, and visiting King Valcroy (or that guy in Tree of Life) once a day.

Crystals are the cash shop/item mall currency, and are bought with real money through the r2games store (also called recharging). If you open the cash shop (the shopping cart icon by your mini map) you would need crystals for everything except the coupon tab (which is where you spend your coupons) and the points tab (which is only available during Point of Interest events).

Gold is easy to get if you do all the event and all your dungeon runs. Selling stuff is another way to get gold.

As you earn the silver and copper from selling the equipment drops to the npcs, it will start turning into gold (100 silver = 1 gold).

How you want to earn money beyond just equipment drops sold to npcs (and quest rewards, daily events, etc) largely depends on how you want to build your character now. If you don't plan on doing any gemming of your equipment for a while, you can sell the gems to other players. Same with heroic wings, mount upgrade tokens, and pet stuff- you can choose to work on your character now or you can sell these items to other players and work on your upgrades later.

As long as you're doing dungeons daily, doing all the daily events you are on for, and spending your afk time out on the maps grinding mobs, you'll find that money is made pretty easily.
