Request for Newgrounds Server merger

Well...honestly I dont feel that the forum is the appropriate place for this, but at the suggestion of the R2 team, here it is. I have been an active player on the newgrounds server since it launched in January. I honestly love Crystal Saga. It has to be the first mmo that i have actually enjoyed playing in a good many years. The problem is this: The newgrounds crowd is mercurial at best, and the server is dying. There is currently less than twenty full active players. Our guild showdown attendance last week totaled 14 on both sides, and is set to decline even more this week. I dont want to quit playing, and considering that ive dropped what would be considered a disgusting amount of money just on getting the firelord, re-rolling another toon is not an option. We would like to request that reality squared merge the newgrounds server so that those of us who enjoy the game and log in every day can continue to do so. I know of SEVERAL other players from the server who have opened trouble tickets to request the same thing. My ticket reference was 186267 and another player's ticket number was 184501...but in classic we-dont-care-about-your-concerns customer service style, the response was bot-written. "Thank you for your suggestion, blah blah blah, we work to make your experience enjoyable, blah blah blah, please take this request to the forums." This type of response doesnt win players, it makes people like me very angry, especially when the amount ive paid in at this point woulda paid for a full year of WoW. So if any of you on this forum would care to support those of us from newgrounds who would very much like to keep playing, please help us get the ball rolling with r2.

As it currently sits our server has 7 scions 4/7 have quit on our top 20 character list 8/20 have quit all we really want is either for our server to just become a new one here or to merge with a server at about the same place.

the only people missing from Evils list of people are Unshine, Whitekitty, Blacknite, Flipo, and Foxy

The ticket staff doesn't have anything to do with server merges or cross-platform acquisitions. So, they responded as they are suppose to for what reads as a server merge request.

I do know who to ask about this, though. So, I will ask about it and have it brought up to the team responsible for the cross-platform acquisitions.

In the meantime, encourage your friends to stick around. This process is slow as it requires making a deal with the other platform, the other platform has to agree with the deal, and so on. It could be a while (talking in terms of weeks/months, not days) until it happens, if it will happen, based on past experience with another platform's merge into R2.

I agree i love my character on newgrounds and would be very disappointed if i had to start over since i just got to level 71. I am hooked on this game and think it would be alot funner with more people. I really appreciate you for hearing us out MemoryLane.

^When I wrote this (the link above) this morning I was unaware for the most part that there was already this thread going. I was aware that tickets were filed with the staff at R2 games and, having had to go through that ** as a freelance, off the radar beta tester about over 9000 years ago. The likely hood of seeing any sort of answer provided or resolution made is still slim at this point. In short, we need to make some noise around here.

The server on Newgrounds really has been dying. The numbers have dropped badly over the past month or so, and even more exponentially in the past couple weeks. I'm definitely on board to keep this thread alive. We need a server merge as soon as possible. Thank you for the reply, MemoryLane.

I'm worried about our server. I have VIP and I've noticed a disquieting trend: there are maybe a handful of vips active on the server and four of our scions have left. I don't want to lose all two months of work if Newgrounds decides to say "screw it."

Unshine here, one of those 3 scions still playing. I like the game but i like the community more if it dies i see no point in continuing so if at all possible even if it's 1 hour faster do what you can in your capabilities to negotiate with Newgroundsinto getting our server merged because as it's going the player base will probably be gone in a month.

Many of us puted a lot of time and money in our chars and nobody like to see his own work go to waste, and many player said that they would rather quit the game than starting a new charakter on another server. So just merge the server keep many player and let us have fun again with playing your awesome game. I hope you guys will react in a favorible way to our request

Our Newgrounds Server really needs more active players and I would definitive appreciate the suggested Server merge! Just like many others I don't have the intention to start anew on another server, so please don't make me give up my account.

This server is insane dying. You go inside Seng and there is an average of 10 people inside. We don't really wanna lose all the hard work we put in and would really appreciate if something could be done about it.
