I will also attest that the person trying to get the Carney account back is the real carney. Whoever tried to redeem it before was in impersonator.

How do I know this is the real one?

1 - I've had Carney on my skype for a while; we are still able to communicate.
2 - We've talked about things only the real carney would know about.
3 - When I sent her an email to the email her account used to be under, she was still able to retrieve it.
4 - Whoever has the carney account right now took away all the gems. Only a thief would do that in order to give the gems to another toon.

I can also attest that this is the real Carney. I was married to Carney at one point as well (her alt actually but sort of same thing) and as squintina mentioned, all her gems were taken out of their sockets which is something that is common for hackers/account stealers to do. Also, I chatted with the real Carney on her priest alt, S14DarkPriest26 which nobody else knows. Her behavior and the way she "talks" (what she types) is the same as well.
