Since everyone almost look the same with similar costumes. It would be great to have a guild emblem above the character name. Easier time finding guild mates among the crowds not to mention that proud sensation of having wearing your guild's crest.

Well, the Guildname can be shown above chars. I can't imagine a guild emblem above chars.
I think they should just color the blue dot purple for guild mates or something like that. Would help in guild ressource too. -
why not making it like on DarkOrbit:
to create a guild you need some money(5g) a name(ex: FireStorm) and 4 sigles(maximum) (ex: FT)the sigles are the same as the guild name (you can't take an existing one) and there the player who is in a guild(FireStorm) looks like this:

Yes, but for now you have to hover the character before you can see the guild name. Would be great if guild names are permanently shown above characters with a guild emblem to the left.
Probably the winner of LG will have special effects around their emblem like the legendary items. awesome huh?

You could also tell your guildies to use their guild position as shown title
