Suggestion:
During maints or after them R2 does a official stream to show the content or patch events, while this is going on twitch stream bots will be gathering who follows R2 stream and enters the keyword of day chosen to join the giveaway.
R2 will then decide when to stop the gathering process- giving bot command to select a winner out of the people who entered. then exchanging character information the items will be sent shortly after.
