Okay, ignoring all the rest of the banter and anti-U.S./pro-U.S. jibber jabber, I just want to say this: Just because the folks at R2 have decided to celebrate the U.S. Independance Day and support the VFW(Veterans of Foreign Wars, which dates back MUCH further than the ** we are doing/have done in the Middle East), doesn't mean that R2 is pro-Fascism or Tyranny or any other **** like that. It's simply because it is a widely celebrated holiday in R2's home country. No different than the event for the NBA Finals.

Yes, I am born and raised in the U.S. Doesn't mean I agree with everything the politicians do.

While we're at it, let's look at another thing:

Easter. Christmas. Valentine's Day. Halloween. Thanksgiving. These events are most likely shunned by some measure of Crystal Saga's fan-base. Looking at them individually... Well, let's stay out of that cup of tea. I don't want to invoke a huge religious and/or political debate on R2's forum.

Suffice to say... It just another day of the year. Celebrate it, if you want. If you don't, that's your business. And if you don't care to support the VFW, to put it simply, don't buy the special packs.

i'm very desappointed in the one who found that marvelous event more than that i'm outraged, this is a game there isnt suppose to have any partisaneries or political view
If we play games its because we dont want to know at this moment anything from real life we want to play and have fun !!!! might be an U.S server dont mean we are americans .. such we got only a few playing on my server but still dont see the place of this event in this game

I'm sorry you took offense to our way of celebrating Independence Day and that you object to funds being sent to support people who have been injured or killed fighting for freedom. But the fact is that celebrating Independence Day has nothing to do with any political party or view. It is a national holiday, not a Republican or Democratic one. I very well know that not all Americans celebrate national holidays, and that is your right. So if you don't like the events, you do not have to participate; that is also your right.

Also, the charity is not supporting the army or any war. It is going to help military veterans who have served in overseas combat or to support the families of people who have died in combat. We thought it was fitting that on a holiday celebrating freedom won through combat, we gave back to those who are still sacrificing for freedom every single day. This is not the only chairty event we will be doing this year; maybe the next one will be one that you will feel more comfortable donating to.
