I saw something like this on a game an ex-boyfriend of mine played, where he'd do an instance all day for the slim to null chance of it dropping a really rare item. So I thought...maybe why not suggest something like it for on here.
Basically it's a dungeon type thing you can do as many times as you want a day for a very very very VERY small chance of it dropping rare items, like soul prints, ethereal wings, maybe even enchanted skill dust and therions. And I do mean a small chance. And if you don't get a rare item from the instance type thing I'm suggesting, you get nothing at all. Not even loots to NPC for gold. Of course, with rare items as prizes it wouldn't be easy, and would still keep a little rarity among items, as the more rare the item is (for example, could run this instance 1000 times and not see a therion) the harder it would be to get out of this event. But I just figure, if an exboyfriend was willing to run an instance constantly for a small chance at a rare item, other people would too. Plus having slightly more rare items in the economy would help older servers, as dungeon loots are worthless, and would help newer servers who don't have the luxury of some of the older events that have since changed (I won't say the one in particular I'm referring to, but I'm sure most can guess which event I was referrering to there.) I don't propose this dungeon be incredibly difficult, as yes the rewards would be good, but also for 99.99% of the time coming out of it with absolutely nothing except maybe repair bills, everyone should be able to stand a chance at getting nothing from it the majority of the time.
