Is it true that R2 won't convert CS once flash player support ends?

Heard from a buddy that R2 will not convert CS to something else once flash support ends. Is it true?

Short answer: Not really.
Longs answer: We don´t know, iirc either Minori or KanaDT stated that we´ll get more information around the middle of 2020 but I´m not 100% sure if it was them.
Unless we get any official statement from R2 everything you hear regarding this topic is nothing more than an assumption.
