Dragon Crystals are rather plentiful. This isn't a contribution that would substantially add to the game, but basically be a hand-out for players who don't want to farm or buy Dragon Crystals. As I understand it, Dragon Crystals use to only be a cash-only item. Most dungeons now drop Dragon Crystals, with Psychodelica giving an inordinate amount due to the number of bosses.

We have a permanent GMUT event now. Do we really need more hand-outs?

If you have tried to farm DC's on a daily basis, I run 16 runs of psycho (2*8) and end up roughly with only 4 to 6 dc's a day. Kd is either 0 or 1.
The gmut exchange is a joke: we'll never get a gmut unbound event again where you could upgrade your mount in 1 week time. With the x2 bound a day, you're looking at a year consecutively.
The light/void/brilliance shards etc are useless in the amounts we have gathered in the last 2 months, give it a purpose, even if just for a weekly event.

I run 8 runs of pyscho everyday and usally end up with 6-12 DC so ur very unlucky. And after KD and SR usally come out with another 2-3 per 8runs on each of those.

But ya those shards....2x stacks of 250, make them useful, like change 25-30 into 1 SS per. Like 1/1 for each. So 5ss per day, and get rid of a few stacks.

He isn't unlucky, he is just a higher level than you. I noticed when I was leveling as an Eidolon that drop rates on all items in dungeons get worse as you level. I'm a level 120 Eidolon myself, and I'm lucky to get 3 DC in my 5 Psych runs, and SR+KD are almost not worth doing- I maybe get 1 a week doing all my runs on them.

Yeah, the more powerful you are the faster u can rush through Psycho, which is a bad thing. My suggestion is to wait inside Psycho for 1-2mins doing nothing then atking the Bosses. I avg around 3-5 DCs for my 5 runs in psycho.

I dunno about that. My husband and I are level 120 but he's got more attack and does the dungeon faster. He gets 5-10 DCs in 8 runs, while I kill slower and get 2-3 DCs in 5 runs.

Some people also think the Luck stat might have to do with it. My husband does use Peace (which increases luck) while I don't, so I suppose it's plausible.

I used to speed rush through psycho and get 0-3 DCs and the occasional 5+ DCs, but with me waiting for 1-2 mins i can pull most of the time 3+ DCs. I know its also about luck (52 luck, ranger). But it works for me so i can't complain, would love to seem them all DCs drop like MECs in Exelorn, but thats just pushing it.

I suppose luck could be part of it. I'm a mage with 45 base luck, and I only occasionally use BoP for my dungeons since it isn't worth looking for most of the time.

Lemme make this clear for you, ingame luck stat has nothing to do with the Dragon Crystal drops. Or is it logical that I have 57 luck and get 0 DCs from 8 runs?

That is a strong argument against luck affecting drop rates, which is good- I wasn't looking forwards to tracking down someone with BoP up every time I felt like running my dungeons. That said I'd say the real issue with DC drop rates is that you are punished for being a higher level with them. Add them as a drop to purg, then not only will your level not punish you, but there would be an actual reason to run that dungeon.

If purgatory is going to drop DC's only the top-players will be able to farm them. Any other strong character could farm 2 out of 4 bosses in NM (topboss is 1 bossfight nomatter if it's in physical form 2 bosses)

57 luck isn't much though...
With peace, you could get 70+ luck.
