Badges for Badges

I think you should be able to trade the honor badges, and when I mean trade I mean trade like trade "gold for sliver, sliver for bronze - bronze for sliver, sliver for gold"
i.e. trading down
(1 gold honor badge =makes= 3 sliver honor badges)
(1 sliver honor badge =makes= 5 bronze honor badges)

i.e. trading up
(5 bronze honor badges =makes= 1 sliver honor badge)
(3 sliver honor badges =makes= 1 gold honor badge)


p.s.
I know there's alot of way to get bronze honor badge but its hard to get sliver badges and its very to rare to get gold badges.
so trading ("Badges for Badges") could be a great idea. you could even have General Krahn do the trading system.

That doesn't quite work. This has been suggested countless times, and if it hasn't been applied yet it probably won't, but i do support the idea.

like the idea. i even wish you could trade down badges too. silver for bronze, gold for silver, etc. thatd save me a lot of headaches lol i agree with nightnight though, if it hasnt been done yet theres a slim chance it will now

It's a good idea. Although an event which you could unbound or trade badges in really limited time would be nice as well. It's a waste with leftovers badges in our other characters.

We've been discussing this a lot on Claymose as it's currently really difficult to obtain certain types of medal. Gold Medals for example are SotF and Dragonspine only. Now, we have the issue that people gold farm DS for as long as they can to get medals as it's twice a day, guaranteed and at more reasonable times than SotF's once a day if you place in a certain position. There's people who aren't around for either of those events and therefore aren't able to get the medals and have to strike it lucky with an event. Some people are inundated with bronze medals from like, everything. Not everyone pots during Seng and also silvers in Seng are a lot harder to get with scions dominating. While we do still have players who are non-Scion capable of getting silvers, it all comes down to luck and people are at the point where they're relying on Tamalan for a silver a day with hoping they're on the winning side of Seng for another single silver and possibly getting one from Wishing Well. I don't quite know how the rewards are determined from Wishing Well (seems to be a random array) but even if there was a higher chance of getting silvers from 12/15 coin turn ins, that would be greatly appreciated by a lot of players.

Those who have a lot of silvers are in an opposite position where they're maybe lacking on bronze and would like to convert some down for potions/upgrades. At one point I had 1k bronze medals filling up my inventory, had no idea what to do with them and made myself green slayer gear like 40 levels early. Looking back it wasn't the smartest idea but in all honesty it felt like doing something productive with said medals.

maybe they should just add more gear that you spend medals to get? so people with mountains of medals can do something with them. id like a trade down option too. i have quite a few silver but i need bronze for savage set

Excelent i wanted to post this idea myself but wanted to check if someone else already posted same thing and found many but anyway doesn't matter this is a excelent idea which i personally think some game master should check and look into it but thats my personal request not like as it would happen but truely good work and i would like to add a few of my idea into it hope u don't mind. My idea is instead of 5 bronze honor badge for 1 silver honor badge and 3 silver honor badge for 1 gold honor badge why not make it like this
10 bronze honor badge = 1 silver honor badge
5 silver honor badge = 1 gold honor badge
then ratio should be fair for all well thats my idea on ratio since someone already said awful ratio (venomeh) its just my small view point and even if it can't be made as a permanent event then it can atleast be made as a one weak or two week event like torch exchange good work and good luck

well considering that silver badges are becoming more difficult to get and gold are very difficult to get, i think the ratios arent all that bad

Re-arrange the ratio's to be more suiting to the dev's touch and I'm supporting this idea. Perhaps make an event out of it just like with Mount upgrade tokens -> Great mount upgrade tokens adding a little gold to it.

Upgrading and downgrading badges without a synthesize fee

Gold - Silver 1/3
Silver - Bronze 1/6
Bronze - Silver 12/1
Silver - Gold 8/1

upgrading and downgrading with synthesize fee

Gold - Silver 1/5 + 2g in synthesizing fee
Silver - Bronze 1/10 + 1g in synthesizing fee
Bronze - Silver 10/1 + 2g in synthesizing fee
Silver - Gold 5/1 + 4g in synthesizing fee
