As for a stratigy, make people follow tos, harrassment includes cyber stalking and that is against ur rules right? In past I have been banned as I swore, ok fair enough I accept that BUT why do others get away with swearing and harrassing people as is the case of someone following me around avernal just to ruin my game.

If they are only in the event to try to cause distress/annoyance then I beleive by anyones definition that would count as harrassment right?

they are only doing push / pull / drag skills to be number 1 in Avernal. and thats what you called strategy.

Not being a "hater", just stating a counter opinion to your suggestion. You are proposing select skills be excluded from Avernal which is something that affects everyone, so everyone is entitled to an opinion whether or not they agree with you. I feel that if those skills are excluded (as a knight, hook is extremely useful to counter rangers pushing and baby angels knocking the boss around), then the AOE's should be excluded as well because no one would be able to move the boss out of the aoe's.

The only "fair" way to remove a skill is to remove them all, which includes disabling pets as they have skills too.

Avernal Realm is a competition to see who can get the most damage, if people are using strategies to prevent people from doing a high amount of damage then that is completely fair no matter how annoying someone thinks it might be. You could try developing a strategy of your own to prevent people from sending afk followers through the portals.

You dont need to remove the skills, just make the boss ranged immobile or immune to drag skills. even if you counter with drag skill, u still miss 2 or 3 seconds hitting the boss each drag. Thats some big lost points while ranged character still hit peacefully and make melee character really at disadvantage. And someone from (S22)Tyria village is abusing drag skill just for fun to annoy people, not for winning avernal purpose since he's not dealing damage and none of his guildmates present. I think thats some kind of 'legal' abuse/ harrasment to other player and its easily done by everyone with drag skill pet.

Just remember the creation of events should purposely to give more fun to the game. If one random person can easily turn the good event to make a lot of ppl angry, game mods should be aware that there is a flaw with the system and it needs to be fixed.

If you can prove that the player was intentionally following only you, and follows only you every time, then maybe. However, you can follow a player platform to platform and kill the mobs in the room before they can get a few attacks off, and that isn't even close to harassment as it is a part of the event, so if the player is just dragging mobs to the portals that might also be classified as part of the event even if he/she was following only you around.

The problem with making the boss completely immobile is that it does render some skills useless, which isn't fair to anyone who uses those skills since no one else's skills would be affected. It is a common strategy to pull the boss out of the sea of AOEs to prevent certain classes from just sitting there racking up the damage points. It's a good strategy when you are out-damaged by other people- gives you a fair shot at climbing the ranks.

he was following me from boss to boss, I kept going to other boss cos he was at one draggin or pushing it into portals and making me go through. So Id go to other boss and he follow repeatitively. (the boss wasnt dead I just left to get away frm him and go to other big boss for points) I think a few players may have screen shot and filed tickets on it, i didnt cos was trying to get points on avernal but there were many people complaining about it as it effected thier event too.

i know the issue. your just mad because you cant win in AR.... and the rouge who's doing the drag is helping his guildie to be top of AR and thats what you called stratefy. stop complaining and learn how to counter attack it..

hmm.... since the mod say its legal, maybe I should put this 'using alts for drag to portal in avernal strategy' to the guide section so every ranged character in whole server can use this method. we'll see what happen to the global world chat after that .
