I am getting really tired of the buzzkill "lame event" posts. Seriously, wading through pages upon pages of these every time an event is posted is rediculous. If you don't have something constructive to say then shut the hell up.

My constructive criticism for this is to call on the Mods for a ban hammer on people that continually post condescending ****.

i don't think you can ignore people on the Forums, and i read pages of events everyday and all i see is that also, i don't usually comment on them but it does get annoying

The moment you read a thread or any post, you already noticed it once. So you really can't ignore people on the Forums if you read most of them. Lol.

So, either you try to comment on that thread or just pass along to another thread.

In my opinion, criticism is needed for improvement. Although, most criticism threads are not really criticism. There are more of rants, rage and personal dissatisfaction in a specific area they see or a matter of their opinion. Either people could attempt to persuade those annoying threads or just read it and move along. Again, it's matter if it's worth your time.

The day you try to stop negativity in the forums is the day you go insane.

It doesn't matter what game you play - people WILL complain, and they'll do it even more so as the game progresses. You should see how WoW and ex-WoW players talk about it, yet there are still plenty of people who play. I'm also on tera and guess what? People there whine, not too much 'cuz it's only a 1-year old "real" game, but the whine is definitely there. CS will keep on ushering negativity even IF the devs decided to follow the majority of opinions all the time.

And it's not limited to MMOs! Check out the comments on gaming blogs, most of them will be flame/negativity, oftentimes not even related!

The only thing to do is to separate the **** and focus on the few people that don't just complain, but explain their position and also point out the good things the game does.

People like me Sure, having WB again REALLY blows, but having a new sell feature, ladder quest event fixed, a fair event with cudra, and the roses event is a nice also-mostly-fair bonus! That's 4/5! W00t. Ignore the 100% negative people who say r2 "never" does anything and the game is "dying" and "everyone" is quitting and the events "always" suck. They'll be there till the end of days,just watch, in a few months, people will be flooding the newer games' forums with such comments as well!
