My son started playing the other day and has leveled his character up to lvl 35 when he was invited to a party with another player. They wanted to go and do Revenants Vault, so the 2 of them(both mages) went in and were able to kill the wandering monsters but died several times trying to fight one of the bosses. They gave up trying and teleported back to Starglade; however, once they reached town they went to repair and the cost to repair their gear was outrageously expensive. My son's character had earned 4 gold while leveling up to lvl 35 and the repair cost for his gear was 7 gold. And that was only at half durability on their gear!! All the two of them wanted to do was go and play around and try to kill some bosses, but it wound up costing them both more gold than they have to repair their gear. In my opinion this extremely expensive repair cost hurts the game overall and will drive people away from playing. People want to be able to "Play" around in a game and not have to be severly punished for being killed while "playing" around. My son and his friend were both very upset about the huge repair bills and left the party mad at each other because of how much it "Cost " them to "Play" around.
So not only did the price of repairs hurt the players you are trying to attract to play your game but it hurt both of them too. They may have become friends and continued to play together, but after the Horrible experience they had "Playing" your game they have lost their friendship and all their gold!! Please take this into account the next time you do a patch or an update and please lower the repair costs on gear. Your only hurting the people who want to "Play" your game!!
