Pliz fix the "cannot reach the target" thing

Here's the scenario :

1. I am a ranger, with decent ranged attack.

2. My attack is slightly blocked/hindered by small object/NPC, but my attack can still hit the target from long range

3. Out of the blue, the stupid warning "cannot reach the target" appears and for some reason my toon suddenly is attacking the target from close range.

What's going on here? If it's really a bug, pliz fix it. Because this annoying thing often occurs and totally defeats the purpose of being a ranger

when your target is out of range, your stupid, or our stupid character will go approach the target till its on our range, just press escape to cancel it
