making client is bad idea, see if you want to play CS in another area or another pc you need to install it, what if you forgot your flashdrive? every maintenance needs patch, meaning it takes time to play. i vote no to client

- Having a 'client' is pretty much useless if they don't push updates.
 - Flash games don't need 'client'.
 - You could make your own 'client', just strip the javascript and use the weblauncher for it, slap it on flash enabled open source web browser. *assuming you know how to code*

You know having a client wouldn't take the option to have it on browser as well away, don't you?Originally posted by xshinn View Postmaking client is bad idea, see if you want to play CS in another area or another pc you need to install it, what if you forgot your flashdrive? every maintenance needs patch, meaning it takes time to play. i vote no to clientStalkers OP.

In case you didn't realize... Even with a client, your still using the same servers that r2 uses to host CS... Thus your only increasing the lag load... And doing nothing in the way of improvement... Its a good idea to have... But it will fix nothing..... Sorry to tell you that but, that's how it works....Game:Crystal Saga

Having a client reduces the lag for a lot of people. These types of games like wartune and others have clients because the game can't hold every new patch and add-ons to the game. I've tried a lot of browser games that went to client because of the massive amount of stuff that was being put into it and the lag was decrease a good bit. You can still log into the site by browser.Originally posted by Beepuddylan View PostIn case you didn't realize... Even with a client, your still using the same servers that r2 uses to host CS... Ym... No it doesn't.... Many games that have online servers and clients have frequent slowdowns... I have worked with this type of situation before... If the client is added, then it won't actually help... You can argue all you want, but I know what I'm saying... In the beginning the lag will be reduced, but as time progresses it will only add stress to the servers that host the game.Originally posted by SkiaXia View PostHaving a client reduces the lag for a lot of people.
