  • Please make the ranger skill Panic castable.

    I've always had this skill at lvl 5 and it barely ever activates considering the proc % chance. It's beginning to feel like a really useless skill to waste points on because of how rarely it activates. I think all classes should have a skill like slayers sprint but since rangers already have panic why not make it a cast skill instead of a passive so we can get more use out of it especially for dungeons like exelorn. Unless you're surrounded by mobs all hitting you or 5 people pvping you it won't activate. idk just a suggestion that I'm sure everyone of my class would be happy for, glad I have over 5k pumpkin candies (reaper buff ) cause exelorn and well all the dungeons are just so boringly tedious to run anymore and have been for a long time.

    I like the idea... I hate how panic only ever activates itself when i don't need it.

      No, just no, Rangers already have 2nd highest movement speed from the classes, and longest range for their attacks. ..Aaand a 2 sec invincibility every 5 secs, etc. etc., that would just be too much if they made it a non-passive skill.

        Rangers have exactly the same range as mages and priest I've tested it, which is ** because of our class name but ah well. 2 second invincibility every 7 seconds but if you count the 2 seconds of invincibility I guess it's every 5 seconds, but w/o we'd have no defense against being stun locked and being owned because of stuns in pvp, even with it I've still been stun locked a few times. Point is Panic doesn't work right and would make a lot more sense as a cast skill, I think all classes should have a castable movement speed skill.

          Not quite, Rangers' basic attack's range is 450 and the range for other skills is 400. For Mages + Priests the range for all(?) attacks is 350.

            veno-meh under a different name :/ read the descriptions of skills all you want doesn't mean they're correct. Test it yourself with alts, post a location have them stand in that same spot and attack a quick spawning mob like in cragstone that spawns in the same spot. Another way is have a ranger, priest and mage do ebs together and have them all attack the same medusa mob you'll see they'll all run and stop at the same range from the mob. I tested it quite a bit because it has been an argument on my server more than a few times.

              Called alt. Been there done that, the range's correct. lol don't wonder the last part, maybe you should just admit that you're wrong.

                oddly enough ive played with 2 priests at the same time using the same skills attacking the same monster while standing at the exact same coordinates and yet the weaker of the 2 priests ALWAYS has to be closer to whatever target he is attacking. the atk range in this game is demented.

                    how do you think us priests feel....sure some of us might be able to escape a stun lock with GE + blood scion skill (not even sure the daze immune even works), but that's only in cases where it's not on cd, we're not up against a shadow rogue, and our reaction time + lag is in our favor. Other than that,we don't have much from stun lock either.

                    And if you want all classes have a castable mobility skill, why not think of a mobility skill for priests as well. And no, our curse roots can't really be considered mobility skills because it's be like saying rangers' ankle shot and traps are too. Plus it's not moving oneself, but slowing others. Of which is not what I believe you're referring to as "movement speed skill".

                    P.S. there are many more priest skills that "doesn't work right and would make a lot more sense" if something was changed >.>
