Eidolon?

Players are bored, at least my server is getting smaller and smaller with lack of things to accomplish, any chance you GMs could release eidolon and give us something to work towards?

r2 We know you have done it as much as it would be nice (sarcasum) to relise it....like myself im not even in the plane of scion yet and id like you to hold on a little while longer but no selfishly. Low accomplishment yeah right I see scions everyday upgradeing and there the good ones....your talking about hte ones its got to cushie for..being spoon fed from crystals and getting bored cause they cant be bothered to go out and earn there gems and wings there rich enough to but what they want etc. THats why the games boreing fo them. My advise work on your gems get them to immaculate ALL GEMs too immaculate. Yea it will take a while but your benifit from it and ull feel accomplished. 2 join a lower level guild help them out (optional) dont hold on to your cash help a noob with mounts wings etc ull feel much better and make people in the game seem really nice (dont spoil them or they will be pestering you and doing nothing themselves) :P plus wouldnt the next rebirth make a nice xmas present relise it xmas day or even better new years. Also i know it seems temppting to give us what we want at the moment r2 after the bad comments etc but dont relise all within the same few months...too much at once. Finnally the goddess system if new...work on some better blessings use them to help you get the top time in CL. Little things can make you feel good too!!!!!!

1. Going from full perfect or half perfect / half flawless to full immaculate doesn't provide that big of a bonus, because gem's bonus is fixed (ie. not amplified by % bonus fRom mount/pixie/soul). So it doesn't feel encouraging to work so hard on gems for such a little boost.

2. Joining a low level guild isn't a good option, we love our guild skills. They took us a lot of time (for contribution) and gold to upgrade, especially for lvl 7 and higher skills.

3. Helping out lowbies? The low price of MUT/HWings in old servers is already a HUGE help there. When I first played it was 2-2.5g for 1 MUT/HWings, now I will be happy if someone pays 5s for MUT or 50s for Hwings.

4. Goddess system, what about it to be working on? If you are a casher, you can max it out in 1 day. If you are not, then you need to get free crystals for that. But doing free offers is not playing, hence it is still boring.

Well, you have to view it from the lvl 100s' point of view too. There is a point at which the only thing you can work on to improve your toon is soul. At that point, the game gets pretty repetitive and boring. You can't blame people for working hard on their toons, hit lvl 100 so early then strive for more things to work on xD

And if you don't want to be left behind when eidolon is out, then you had better work harder from now :P You know, I have never caught up with the lvl cap until now. I was 56 when lvl cap raised from 60 to 80, was 70 when rebirth was introduced, and was 78 scion when lvl cap raised from 80 to 100. But I couldn't blame R2 for releasing new contents nor the higher lvls who wanted those contents, I could only blame myself for not working hard enough in-game.

Last point: new servers and new players come all the time. So no matter at which time eidolon is released, there will always be people who are still mortals. You are saying that "scions don't think of mortals when they ask for new contents". But the fact is, you can't wait for EVERYONE to hit scion before releasing eidolon, it is just impossible.

Last point R21892248 made is right on. There are people, me included, who have worked hard on their characters, and are running out of goals to strive for. Some goals also depend on server availability. Some people are hellbent on achieving things without spending cash. Alot of people have accomplished Demon Kings/Burning Angels, Hellwings, 3rd/4th form pixie, Lucky 13 title, all without buying crystals. So I give a suggestion, and get the finger pointed at me for being a cushy cash player when I'm not? Don't assume everyone who's bored from being a lvl 100 scion is bored because they bought their way there.

I don't think there is any honor rank higher than Emperor, it is simply that the "honor rank refresh weekly" isn't implemented yet.

And why must R2 give something to keep the lowbies playing? Because of the power gap between Eidolon and Mortal? If you are aware of such gap then you should really try to work harder from NOW. Because if R2 add anything new together with Eidolon, then Eidolon will also have access to such content. And if that content gives any bonus then trust me that Eidolons can do better than Mortals, which in the end does nothing but widening the power gap. Take a look at newer contents such as soul, fragarach and pet breeding, do you see that currently Scions are upgrading those faster than Mortals? That's the proof to my point above. If they implement Eidolon when you are still Mortal, you should pray that no new kind of upgrade comes together with it, not vice versa.

Yes I'm a lvl 100 scion, but I do understand your view. What I tried to say in my previous post is: add new content added to the game, and either the following cases happen:
1. Both Mortals and Scions get the same reward (such as this week's events)
2. If it is a new way of upgrading your toon, Scions will do it better and faster, thus only widen the current power gap.

Because of the above, R2 can keep people happy through new events, but the person who can close the power gap is YOU, no one else can do it for you. R2 can't do something like "oh, we are releasing Eidolon this week, and together with that we will be giving all mortals 2 stacks of soul shards to keep up". Doing that will just cause a huge outrage in the community.

Edit: you might not believe that I understand how you feel. But the fact is: I was still lvl 75-78 mortal when many were hitting 80 scion, I got bullied enough in GR that I dropped GR for months, didn't even do delivery, in Seng I was happy to get 1-2 silver badges from killing. But I didn't give up, I just have to get to 100 so now I could enjoy those events again. And if you do it right, you should be able to enjoy those in the future too, especially DS after rebirth ^^ (I had fun doing DS with you and your brother pat, if it rings a bell in your head of who I am)
