    1. a lvl 1 person cannot be in SG and cannot trade untill lvl 10 :P
    2. then it would be an very expensive bounty seeming u add G's per lvl difference. say you are lvl 10 and the target is lvl 100 (scion) no gears. then it'd be 112.50g already.

    also the bounty being increased based on gear is nice.. but people can take it off....

    You missed my point, the system changes you to bounty mode, and you can't change it, like you can't change from guild mode in guild resources.

    That would be good too, but the cost due to lvl difference shouldn't be counted toward the reward in the end, because you being at higher lvl than the person you hate doesn't contribute to the difficulties in killing that person.

    Or you can make it so that you can only place bounty on people of 5 lvl lower than you at least? So let's say you are lvl 70, then your target needs to be at least 65.

    But 1 problem comes with both of the above solutions: what if i use a lvl 1 alt to place bounty on someone? xD

    The bounty fee will be paid by the bounty placer, and only half of the fee will become reward for the bounty hunter. If the person who has bounty on his head manage to stay alive in PK-able zones for 3 hours, the bounty will expire and 25% the bounty fee will be given to the hunted guy (PK zones do not count pvp areas such as Seng, Gr, etc., just normal maps)

    With the above system, for example you are trying to place a bounty on a lvl 100 scion with Extreme Angel Lord wings, 800 soul and full +13 except for offhand, the cost will be:
    [100g (lvl) + 32g (AL wings) + 56g (7 pieces of +13) + 40g (soul) ] * 1.25 (scion) = 275g or 2.75d

    And whoever could claim the bounty will receive half bounty fee, which is 137.5g or 1d 37g 50s

    If no one could kill that person after he/she has spent 3 hours on normal PK-able maps, then that person receives 1/4 of that 2.75d fee.

    Edit: as suggested in the beginning, any bounty hunter can receive an item that points toward the bounty, you can receive as many bounty pointers within your level as you want, but the pointers will stop working once the target has been killed, has gotten pass the 3-hour limit or you have completed the amount of daily bounty hunting allowed
    This is not a bad idea.. however one thing.
    if one would place a bounty on someone it would mean they either bear a grudge against them for something they did and they cannot kill this person themselves.
    if you have to pay the jackpot to have the person you hate killed then it would discourage the lower people on getting an indirect revenge.
    and it would be easier for the higher lvl's to annoy the lower ones, cause the high level's are able make more money than lower people.

    so how about u also add a condition like 2g for each lvl that the target is below you.
    and +10g if the other person is non scion while u are.

    or perhaps the conditions should be abit cheaper. i mean it shouldn't be for almost free, but it would suck if it hardly gets used because its very expensive.
    and people can always choose to make the bounty higher to make people interested, we should demand a minimum but a free to decide amount.

    Also, if the target didnt get killed you said that the hunted could\should receive 25% of the bounty. then how about 50% returns to the original creator of the order, seeming his assault didnt get carried out.

    for the previous suggestions:
    Bounty mode > nice, people who are hunting the targets should use this to kill the target, else the kill is not counted for the bounty system.
    also, if you are hunted you can kill all bounty mode people without receiving any kind of an PK penatly

    and, make an nice big announcement when a bounty above xx gold gets placed.

    Like you said, there isnt a sure thing about this idea being used..
    but perhaps we can work this out so well that GM's get very interested, cause most people must agree that this would be quite awesome.

    How about a bounty system where anyone could place a bounty on anyone, of course with a limit of 1-2 times / day for being placed bounty on. (no use limiting the number of bounty placing, because if someone wants, he can just transfer gold to alts to keep placing bounty on others)

    i found myself interested to this first time i read you post and other replies
    but then i found some cons here and there

    my understanding against you post above,,,
    they refer to player who gets bounty on him head
    deliberately means he can manually change him mode
    and for crystal quarry, our mode automatically turns into guild mode only when we are on its silkroad (kaymo-kaspaya-glimmering plains)

    these understanding lead to my post against you

    now that you have clarified you post, i think im fully understand you now
    one cons resolved, bounty mode recognized

    they will, there are overpowered players out there who just love to kos random people out of nothing, hence this event would encourage them to bully over and over again



    also, remember, there are pve server, and all implemented avents go serverwide, there is no such pvp only event nor pve only event
    worst thing being mortal low lvl is that you have more people hunt you down, and a smaller range to hide, not to mention that you cant teleport, unable to use town scroll, intown huntable unless you hide in l1 which has most lag of all instances,,, where in the world did bullies go

    Like i said, i think this might spice up the game abit. but ofcourse there are things that could make it less good which is why there is need for rules.
    so instead of burning all the suggestions down u can also suggest some things yourself.

    Here's another suggestion on how to differentiate bounty targets, they could get a certain buff when a bounty is put on them, like the kind of buff that shows up in delivery, the one that makes you a plunder, escort or delivery. Or they could be deliberately set to bounty mode too, like how people are immediately set to guild mode near the crystal quarry when the crystal quarry battle begins. This would mean that if you are in bounty mode, you can only kill others if they are in the same mode as well.

    So, in talking to another guildie, StrawHatLeon of Psychodelica, he also suggests that it might just be easier to add another mode kind of like party and guild mode rather than my target item. "Bounty Mode" will go past afk protection mode for those who are to be the bounty targets. We'll have to discuss how to make that mode differentiate the targets from the non-targets. He has also noted that if you are only being targeted by those 5 lvls within your range, it challenges you to get stronger wouldn't it not? Plenty of knights out there who only make rubies for harder hits, but don't have enough mdef to defend against mages their level. It makes you realize where your strengths and weaknesses lie. We want to be able to drive crystal saga into a more unique game, and if implemented well it would make it more fun and interesting.

    And I also agree with an earlier suggestion by SaiyanSaga. perhaps there should be a time limit in which a person is to be hunted. If that person escapes from being hunted and not dying before time runs out, they get a reward and the hunters are left with nothing and are once again safe for 24 hours or so. It sounds more fair to both ends. Thank you for pointing out the weak ends on this conversation. ^_^
