Field PVP idea

hello. it is I, noahsummers. i have lost so many PVP targets due to them cowardly diving into the portal into the other land. now, I'm a mage, so i have moves to slow them down, yet they still get away. could you make it so you cant leave the land you're in while in combat mode? and no, i can't pursue them through the portal, because of lodging times and their speed.

That wouldn't be fair for the little people running away from bigger people when it's obvious they will just die anyway. Then there's maps where you are in combat mode from portal to portal because the mobs are aggressive, and I know I would not like to get stopped at every portal on aggro maps when moving from zone to zone.
