Do dungeons, they drop plenty there. At around lvl 65+, you will find that you have wayyyy more socketing rods than you actually need. So there is no need for more ways of getting them. -

You just need to look for mobs which have an blue glowing aura around them, they always drop socketing rods regardless of level.Everything is temporary - Anon
